General Terms & Conditions

The General Terms and Conditions apply to the purchases of all products listed on our website or otherwise sold by spanishmadeguitars.com, regardless of the order method. It shall apply to the use of this website and shall be considered an integral part of the sales contract that the user of this website ("you","your") forms with spanishmadeguitars.com ("Spanish Made Guitars","we", "us" or "our"), upon placing an order through this site. spanishmadeguitars.com reserves the right to modify at any time the commercial offerings presented on its website including but not limited to changes of its products, prices, promotions, sales and services.

SHIPPING POLICY: Orders will be shipped via UPS or United States Postal Service and should arrive within 10 to 15 business days from the time the order is place and once the payments are cleared. We only ship within the Unites States and we reserve the right to cancel any order that does not pass our internal fraud scoring methods. We are not responsible for delivery problems related to weather, delivery delays caused by carrier, packages misplaced or incorrectly distributed by receiving departments (in businesses, apartments, condos, hotels, hospitals, etc.), or delayed or unclaimed orders due to incomplete or incorrect names or addresses.

CREDIT CARD BILLING ADDRESS: In order to protect our customers from credit card fraud, your billing address must match that of the credit card used for payment. The “Billing Address” is considered the address in which they mail your credit card statement to. If you are unsure what this address is, please check your credit card statement. Mail forwarding is not allowed. If you specify a shipping address which differs from the credit card's actual billing address, (for example your work address) you'll need to contact your credit card company to add the “Alternate Shipping Address” to the account. This is not changing the billing address, only adding another authorized shipping address to the account. Please understand that this is an internet credit card processing regulation to help ensure that the person making charges to a credit card is the actual cardholder. If we have any problems processing your card, we will contact you via email.

PAYMENTS: All payments must be remitted in USD and orders larger than $100.00 are shipped pre-paid on 48 hours approval. You can pay for your orders using your PayPal account or by credit card - M/C & VISA.

RETURN POLICY: The guitars are shipped to you in pristine condition. You may return your purchased items, excluding special orders within five (5) days of receipt for an exchange or a refund of the purchase. Goods must be in their original condition with all original packaging, including owner manual, warranty card and any supplied accessories. All goods returned (for whatever reason) must be agreed upon prior to return (you are required to get prior approval from spanishmadeguitars.com before retuning the goods). We will try to attend to all returns as soon as practically possible. A proof of purchase is required for all returns. All correspondences are done via email. Returned goods that are received incomplete, opened or not in 'as new’ condition, used, marked or damaged in any way, will not be eligible for a refund. For goods being returned the cost of shipping and insurance will be the responsibility of the customer ("you"). Please ensure the shipping insurance covers the full replacement value of the goods being returned as no refund will be given for goods damaged during shipping. Any dispute with the returned shipment will be the sole responsibility of the customer. All returns will be checked by our technical department to ensure the returned items are in their original conditions. Once cleared, we will issue a refund for the cost of the goods only to your original payment method. Special orders cannot be returned or exchanged.

All our guitars are shipped to you with insurance covering the full purchase amount. For this insurance to be effective, the customer must notify the carrier of any defects or significant breakage in the packaging upon receipt and must notify spanishmadeguitars.com about the issue within a period not exceeding 24 hours from receipt of order. Within those 24 hours you must email us photos of the following three: the shipping box and the entire contents sealed and intact.

WARRANTY: All Alhambra guitars carry a three-years limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under ordinary use from the date of original retail purchase.
